Cycling - Tour

DATE & TIME: Sunday, June 27. Mandatory meeting at 6:50 a.m. Ride begins at 7 a.m.

SITE: Oak Lake Park, Lincoln.

MAPS: Composite Map, 100-Mile Map, 50-Mile Map, 25-Mile Map and 10-Mile Map

FORMAT: The Tour is a NON-COMPETITIVE event. The route for each tour ride is as follows:

NEW FOR 2010: The 2010 Cycle Tour is a part of the annual Trail Trek Fun and Fitness Bike Ride. 20 bikes will be given away along with other prizes at the conclusion of ride. Lunch, entertainment and the drawings will highlight the end of the ride at Oak Lake Park.

ENTRY FEE: $22 per entrant if entered by May 31. Entries will be accepted until 6:45 a.m. on the day of the Tour with a $5 late fee. Entry fee includes athlete T-shirt, passes to SportFest and the Opening Ceremonies and a copy of the Nebraska Sports Council Yearbook.

REGISTER AND WIN BIG! As if the greatest sports participation experience in Nebraska weren't enough, all registered athletes in the Cornhusker State Games will be entered in the CSG Grand Prize Drawing. The top prize is a free one-year lease on a Mazda 5 from Anderson Auto Group! Second prize is free airfare for two to any Midwest Airlines destination. To encourage early entry, Borsheim's has donated a diamond and gold pendant valued at $1,800, which will be awarded to one of the first 5,000 entrants. Those entering multiple sports receive one chance for each sport entered, so enter early and often!
