MAX EVENTS: A maximum of four (4) events per participant.

100 METER DASH: The 100 Meter Dash will have a prelim if field size is greater than 8. All Finals will be run at final time. Check the website Wednesday prior to meet to see if your division will have a preliminary.

FIELD EVENTS: Track events take priority over field events. Athletes who need to check in for a track event must let the field event judge know. Athletes have until last call to check into the running events, and should make arrangements to jump or throw early or late. COMMUNICATION IS THE BEST. Throwers must provide their own shot, discus and javelins. Competition will be at posted weights and sizes unless no one has an implement that size. Field Judge will substitute size if one is not available.

RULES: This meet is sanctioned by USA Track and Field, and USATF rules will apply. Maximum 1/8” spikes allowed.

VOLUNTEERS: If you would like to help at the meet we encourage your assistance. This year we will close to 800 athletes and 800 events and will be running three volunteer sessions. A session consists of a 4-hour volunteer slot helping with raking, marking, taping and clerking. We pride ourselves with a goal of 120-150 volunteers. The Nebraska Sports Council will provide a t-shirt, passes to Sportfest and the Opening Ceremonies and a lunch and/or dinner. If you would like to donate time to the event please contact our volunteer coordinator Sandi Czeranko at Sandicz@nebr.rr.com or call 402-420-2269.
