CSG Price Deadline Approaching

Lincoln, NE (March 15, 2018) – The Nebraska Sports Council has issued a reminder to register for the 2018 Cornhusker State Games on or before March 29 to take advantage of the lowest possible entry fees. All registered participants receive a shirt and pass to the Opening Ceremonies and the pre-show Sports Fest meal with their paid entry fee.

“This is a great time, especially for coaches and youth team parents, to get organized for the summer. The State Games offer fun, friendly but competitive action in all sports. It’s a great way to stay sharp in the off-season without any pressure. Of course, with 68 sports there are opportunities for everyone—not just team-sport athletes—regardless of age or ability,” said Executive Director Dave Mlnarik

Most of the events will take place from July 20-29, and officials expect more than 11,000 participants this year. Registration and information are available at CornhuskerStateGames.com.

The Cornhusker State Games is conducted by the Nebraska Sports Council, which also conducts the NE150 Challenge, the Mud Run and the Pumpkin Run.  Platinum partners include Farmers Mutual Insurance Co. of Nebraska, LinPepCo and Nebraska Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine.
