General Information

NEW THIS YEAR: The tournament will be a 7v7 format.

ADMISSION: Admission will be charged at Lincoln Southwest.

Adults: $5
Students (6-18 Years): $2
Children (5 & Younger): FREE
Admission with Super Pass: FREE

All registered athletes receive a complimentary Super Pass in the athlete packet. Additional Super Passes for spectators and family members can be purchased for $15 HERE. The Super Pass gains free admission to all 2019 Cornhusker State Games events and venues, including the Opening Ceremonies.

Athletes must wear the Athlete Pass each time they enter the facility. Spectators may purchase a Spectator Pass which will be different than the Athlete Pass. Athletes will not be allowed to share their Athlete Pass with family or friends.

SCHEDULES: Schedules will be posted at CornhuskerStateGames.com and emailed out to participants the week of competition.

COMPETITION RULES: Cornhusker State Games Lacrosse will abide by age applicable USLacrosse rules and regulations.

AWARDS: Custom Cornhusker State Games gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to all members of the top three clubs at each level.

NOTES: Players will have access to warm-up area half an hour prior to scheduled game start. There will be ample parking, bathroom facilities and area to set up tents and chairs.

For paired segments, the even year age group is the maximum: 11U/12U, 13U/14U.
Age Group reflects the maximum age of a player during the playing year. For example, 14U means that players 14 years and under are eligible.
Grade Affiliation reflects the grade for majority of players in that age group. Birth date will be the final determinant of eligibility.
US Lacrosse Boys’ & Girls’ Youth Rules are used for all play 14U and below. NFHS/US Lacrosse rules are used for all scholastic play 15U and above.

Roster Info

ROSTER UPDATES:

Teams can make roster updates online.

The deadline to make roster updates is 5 p.m. on TUESDAY, JULY 16. Rosters are considered FINAL after that date.

Roster additions after July 8 will include the per-player entry fee, plus a $10 late fee PER PLAYER.

Teams that register online are able to login and make roster substitutions free of charge. Teams that register via the paper entry form will be charged a $10 processing fee to substitute players. Teams are strongly encouraged to register online to eliminate any roster change fees.

MINIMUM ROSTER SIZE: 10 players. If registering online, the minimum roster size must be entered to advance to check-out.

MAXIMUM ROSTER SIZE: 13 players.

NOTE: Rosters WILL be checked prior to your first game of the tournament. Please make sure your roster is current prior to the July 16 deadline.

TEAM WAIVER: The team waiver form must be signed by each team member, or by parent/guardian if the participant is 18 years or younger. If the team is registered online, and the online waiver for each player is clicked as ‘Accepted’, no printed/signed waiver is needed. All team waivers must be clicked as ‘Accepted’ or submitted to the Cornhusker State Games office by TUESDAY, JULY 16 to be eligible for competition.

Registration Fees & Deadlines

NOTE: When registering, either online or via the paper entry form, the team contact must enter the USLacrosse membership number for each player. If a participant does not have a USLacrosse number, there will be an additional $2 charge for insurance.

ENTRY FEE INCLUDES: Competition in the 2019 Cornhusker State Games; White cotton athlete shirt (micro-fiber or soft cotton lightweight tri-blend upgrade available); Pass for free admission to SportFest, the Opening Ceremonies, and all competition venues; Sponsor gifts and coupons.

COACHES: Head coach will receive the athlete packet free of charge, and will receive a medal if awarded. Assistant coaches must be included on the registration and pay the entry fee to receive the athlete packet, medal, and free admission to competition sites.

TEAM ONLINE REGISTRATION NOTE: When registering your team online, please note that the system will ask you to enter your team name and roster prior to selecting your sport and division. In the INDIVIDUAL Shipping dropdown menu, be sure to select “TEAM” for each team member. If you wish to have your team packet shipped, you will select that in the TEAM Shipping dropdown menu.

PAPER ENTRY FORMS: Paper entry forms will be accepted with a $10 processing fee per team. Registering online saves time, money and trees. If registering via the paper entry form, please rate your team as being Above Average, Average or Below Average. List this information in the Additional Details/Special Instructions section of the entry form.

Athlete Packets

Choose the Shipping Option and get a Free Arby’s Sandwich!

Save time, avoid hassles and receive your CSG gear more than a week before the Opening Ceremonies by shipping your athlete packet ($10) or team box ($15). Athlete packets contain the athlete shirt and Super Pass. Athlete packets will begin to ship in late June. The packet shipping option will only be available for those registered by the final entry deadline. If you don’t choose the shipping option, you will need to pick up your athlete packet or team box.

For those who did not select the packet shipping option during registration, athlete packets and team boxes can be picked up at the following locations, dates and times:

Athlete packets contain the athlete shirt and Super Pass, which includes admission to all venues and SportFest and the Opening Ceremonies. The athlete packets DO NOT contain any sport specific information such as schedules, maps, bib numbers, etc. For sport-specific details, refer to your sport General Information.
