RULES: NRA rules will govern the BB gun. The National Standard 3-P Air Rifle Rules will be used for Air Rifle. Rules that govern PPP pistol will be from the USAS PPP Rule Book. NRA rules for the Advanced Pistol.

AWARDS: Custom Cornhusker State Games gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each division.

NOTE: Specific shooting times will be posted at CornhuskerStateGames.com and emailed to participants the week of competition.

**PROGRESSIVE AIR PISTOL:

Basic Supported – Sub Junior: Shooter must be 12 years old or younger as of January 1, 2021. Athlete may be seated or standing, 1 or 2 hands on the grip. Athletes are encouraged to progress to a one-handed position as soon as they may safely do so considering the size of the grip and weight of the pistol. The grip (and hands) may be rested on a firm support or a counterbalanced T stand.

If a firm support is used, the shooter may rest any part of either or both hands and the butt of the pistol on the supporting material. The firm support should be designed to provide an erect position with proper sight alignment and extended arm. If the T stand is used, the support point may be anywhere between elbow and muzzle. The competitor’s shooting arm should be fully extended, with the sights at eye level. The non-firing hand may provide support for the firing hand or the butt of the pistol.

Standing Supported – Junior: Shooter must be between 10 and 15 years of age as of January 1, 2021. However, a club or other governing body may establish a minimum age within its jurisdiction. Athlete is standing, 1 hand on the grip, T Stand or other support provides support between elbow and muzzle. The competitor’s shooting arm must be fully extended, with the sights at eye level.

One Handed – Intermediate: Shooter must be between 14 and 19 years of age as of January 1, 2021. The shooter must shoot from a standing position with the pistol held with one hand. The pistol must be supported entirely by the strength of the shooter. No artificial support of any kind is allowed. The competitor’s shooting arm must be fully extended, with the sights at eye level.

One Handed – Senior: Shooter must be between 14 and 19 years of age as of January 1, 2021. The shooter must shoot from a standing position with the pistol held with one hand. The pistol must be supported entirely by the strength of the shooter. No artificial support of any kind is allowed. The competitor’s shooting arm must be fully extended, with the sights at eye level.

One Handed – Advanced and/or NRA/USA/NCAA: Shooter must be at least 20 years old as of January 1, 2021. The shooter must shoot form a standing position, with the pistol held with only one hand. The pistol must be supported entirely by the strength of the shooter. No artificial support of any kind is allowed. The competitor’s shooting arm must be extended, with the sights at eye level. The shooter’s non firing hand and arm may not contact any part of the firing hand or arm.

NRA/USAS/NCAA: There is no minimum or maximum age requirement. Defined as a Shooters who holds a NRA Master or Expert classification or its equivalent. See Rule 19.15 – NRA International Style Pistol Rule Book. Basically

***SPORTER AIR RIFLE 3 POSITION:

Division for shooters using air rifles as defined by the National Standard Three-Position Air Rifle Rules (4.1.1) 60 Shot Match. 20 shots in each position, Prone, Standing & Kneeling.

If you missed the June 21 free shirt deadline, CSG souvenir items can be purchased HERE, courtesy of Fine Designs. Store orders will be shipped directly to the athlete from Fine Designs.

SHIRT SHIPPING:  Athletes who register by June 21 will have their shirt shipped to the address they provide.  There is no packet pickup—information or items needed for competition, i.e. schedules, maps, bib numbers, will be provided onsite or online according to instructions emailed to athletes.

PAPER ENTRY FORMS: Paper entry forms will be accepted with a $5 processing fee. Registering online saves time, money and trees.
