All registered athletes receive a complimentary Super Pass in the athlete packet. Additional Super Passes for spectators and family members can be purchased for $15 at CornhuskerStateGames.com. The Super Pass gains free admission to all 2018 Cornhusker State Games events and venues, including the Opening Ceremonies.
Athletes must wear the Athlete Pass each time they enter the facility. Spectators may purchase a Spectator Pass which will be different than the Athlete Pass. Athletes will not be allowed to share their Athlete Pass with family or friends.
SCHEDULES: Schedules will be posted at CornhuskerStateGames.com and emailed to participants the week of competition.
COMPETITION FORMAT: Teams will play at least 3 pool play games which will then seed the teams into a single elimination tournament. Teams will play pool play on Saturday and all teams will advance to single elimination tournaments on Sunday. All teams guaranteed four games. The director reserves the right to reclassify teams as needed and may combine divisions depending on the number of entries.
RULES: All teams must provide the umpires with an USA-approved ball (Yellow optic cover red stitch 375 lbs Max .44 COR.) prior to the start of each game. A 12” (Yellow optic cover red stitch 375 lbs Max .44 COR.) ball will be used in 12u, 14u, 16u & 18u divisions. An 11” (Yellow optic cover red stitch 375 lbs .44 COR.) ball will be used in the 10u divisions. An 11” RIF (Optic Yellow) ball will be used in the 8u division. USA rules will apply.
AWARDS: Custom Cornhusker State Games gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to all members of the top three teams in each division.

Teams can make roster updates online.
The deadline to make roster updates is 5 p.m. on TUESDAY, JULY 23. Rosters are considered FINAL after that date.
Roster additions after July 8 will include the per-player entry fee, plus a $10 late fee PER PLAYER.
Teams that register online are able to login and make roster substitutions free of charge. Teams that register via the paper entry form will be charged a $10 processing fee to substitute players. Teams are strongly encouraged to register online to eliminate any roster change fees.
MINIMUM ROSTER SIZE: Nine players.
MAXIMUM ROSTER SIZE: 14 players.
NOTE: Rosters WILL be checked during tournament. Please make sure your roster is current prior to the July 23 deadline.
TEAM WAIVER: The team waiver form must be signed by each team member, or by parent/guardian if the participant is 18 years or younger. If the team is registered online, and the online waiver for each player is clicked as ‘Accepted’, no printed/signed waiver is needed. All team waivers must be clicked as ‘Accepted’ or submitted to the Cornhusker State Games office by TUESDAY, JULY 23 to be eligible for competition.
Registration Fees & Deadlines

$360 per 12 member roster until June 20
$370 per 12 member roster until July 8
*$35 for each additional roster member after 12
ENTRY FEE INCLUDES: Competition in the 2019 Cornhusker State Games; White cotton athlete shirt (micro-fiber or soft cotton lightweight tri-blend upgrade available); Pass for free admission to SportFest, the Opening Ceremonies, and all competition venues; Sponsor gifts and coupons.
COACHES: Head coach will receive the athlete packet free of charge, and will receive a medal if awarded. Assistant coaches must be included on the registration and pay the entry fee to receive the athlete packet, medal, and free admission to competition sites.
UMPIRE FEES: Teams WILL NOT pay umpire fees on-site. All umpire fees are covered in the entry fee.
TEAM ONLINE REGISTRATION NOTE: When registering your team online, please note that the system will ask you to enter your team name and roster prior to selecting your sport and division. In the INDIVIDUAL Shipping dropdown menu, be sure to select “TEAM” for each team member. If you wish to have your team packet shipped, you will select that in the TEAM Shipping dropdown menu.
PAPER ENTRY FORMS: Paper entry forms will be accepted with a $10 processing fee per team. Registering online saves time, money and trees. If registering via the paper entry form, please rate your team as being Above Average, Average or Below Average. List this information in the Additional Details/Special Instructions section of the entry form.

Save time, avoid hassles and receive your CSG gear more than a week before the Opening Ceremonies by shipping your athlete packet ($10) or team box ($15). Athlete packets contain the athlete shirt and Super Pass. Athlete packets will begin to ship in late June. The packet shipping option will only be available for those registered by the final entry deadline. If you don’t choose the shipping option, you will need to pick up your athlete packet or team box.

Athlete packets contain the athlete shirt and Super Pass, which includes admission to all venues and SportFest and the Opening Ceremonies.
