JUNIOR TALENT ID & ADULT TIMELINE:
Check-In: 5:30 - 7 a.m. (At picnic shelter east of transition area)
Pre-Race Meeting: 7:15 a.m.
Start Times: First age group wave starts at 7:30 a.m. The USAT Junior Talent ID Race first wave will start at approximately 9:15 a.m., or when all the age group bikers are off the course. Transition area will be closed at 7:30 a.m.

There will be NO ADMISSION OR GATE CHARGE for spectators at this event.
RULES: Triathlon Federation U.S.A. rules will apply. All cyclists must wear a hard-shell helmet. Wet suits and disc wheels are allowed. Center line rule will be strictly enforced.
NOTE: Swim course may be altered due to water and/or weather conditions in a manner that will not conflict with other ongoing lake activities.
TEAM WAIVER: The team waiver form must be signed by each team member (by parent/guardian, if a minor) before competition. If the team is registered online, and the online waiver for each player is clicked as ‘Accepted’, no printed and signed waiver is needed.
TEAM ROSTER UPDATES: If registered online, the team representative may edit the originally submitted roster online, free of charge. For teams who did not register online, roster updates can be made via the Roster Change Form and will include a $10 roster change fee. All roster updates must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22.

REGISTRATION FEES & DEADLINES
REGISTER BY JUNE 16 AND SAVE!
If registered by Monday, June 16, the Triathlon entry fee is:
$50 – Junior Talent ID and Adult individuals
$90 – Adult teams
$25 – Youth individuals
$75 – Youth teams
If registered between June 17 and June 30, the entry fee is:
$60 – Junior Talent ID and Adult individuals
$105 – Adult teams
$30 – Youth individuals
$90 – Youth teams
FINAL ENTRY DEADLINE: Monday, June 30. Some sports accept entries after June 30 with an additional fee. If not specifically stated in the sport information, please contact the NSC office at 402-471-2544 to see if your sport accepts late entries.
NOTE: Athletes may compete in only one event. Entry fee includes an athlete shirt, passes to the Opening Ceremonies and a copy of the NSC Yearbook. Yearbooks will not be shipped, but will be available at the Opening Ceremonies on July 18 and at the Nebraska Sports Council office during normal packet pickup dates/times.
Chip timing will be used in all races. The swim leg is a point to point 500 yard swim and will be lined with support craft. Swim warm-up will only be allowed before the pre-race meeting, no warm-ups allowed before the start of each wave. The cycling leg is a 20-kilometer bike around Holmes Lake and Holmes Golf Course - 70th Street to Pioneer Blvd, to 56th Street to Normal Blvd (3 laps), and the final leg is a 5-kilometer out and back run along the limestone trail around the lake.
Team competition consists of three members, each participating in one segment of the triathlon. Mixed teams must consist of at least one female. Teams are determined by combining the ages of all three team members. If any leg in the team competition does not finish, either or both remaining team members may complete the remaining portion BUT WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR AWARDS. A wave start will be implemented by age groups (4-5 waves depending on the numbers, approx. 80 to 100 per wave) Order of waves will start with the Championship heat, then the youngest to oldest age groups possibly combined together followed by the last wave of Teams competitors.
USAT JUNIOR TALENT ID RACE: The Junior Talent ID race only is sanctioned by USA Triathlon. The purpose of the USAT Talent ID Series is to provide a gateway to the Athlete Development Pipeline for novice teenaged athletes. The race is a non-draft legal format.
YOUTH RACE: The swim leg is a point to point swim and will be lined with support craft and lifeguards. The cycling leg is a bike around Holmes Lake Park and along Capital Parkway east, and the final leg is an out and back run on the limestone trial around the lake.
6-8 Years and 9-11 Years: 100m swim, 5k bike, and 1k run.
12-14 Years: 200m swim, 10k bike, 2k run.
OPENING CEREMONIES AT PINNACLE BANK ARENA!
In celebration of the Games’ 30th anniversary, the 2014 CSG Opening Ceremonies will be held at Pinnacle Bank Arena (400 Pinnacle Arena Drive, Lincoln) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, July 18, 2014. Registered athletes and coaches will receive free admission on a first-come, first-served basis, but must order tickets, which will be included in the athlete packet or team box.
IMPORTANT OPENING CEREMONIES TICKETING INFORMATION: Because seating is limited, participants must indicate during registration whether they plan on attending the Opening Ceremonies AND walking in the Parade of Athletes, or plan on attending the Opening Ceremonies WITHOUT walking in the Parade of Athletes. Tickets for non-participants ($10 for adults, $5 for students ages 6-18, free for kids five and under) must be purchased through Ticket Master or at the Pinnacle Bank Arena box office.

Nebraska Junior Triathlon Team: USA Triathlon Nebraska Junior Triathlon Team is looking for individuals 15-18 years of age who would like to be a part of the USAT Nebraska Junior Triathlon Team. This is a club/team that will travel regionally to compete in Junior triathlon races this summer. Coached by Gary Bredehoft, CSCS, USAT certified Level II Coach, they will have weekly group training activities through the summer.
