SCHEDULES & RULES: Schedules and full tournament rules will be posted at CornhuskerStateGames.com the week of competition as well as Tourney Machine.

ADMISSION: Admission will be charged daily at all Baseball venues.

Students (6-18 Years): $2
Children (5 & Younger): FREE
Admission with Super Pass: FREE

All registered athletes receive a complimentary Super Pass in the athlete packet. Additional Super Passes for spectators and family members can be purchased for $15. The Super Pass gains free admission to all 2020 Cornhusker State Games events and venues, including the Opening Ceremonies.

COMPETITION FORMAT: All teams guaranteed a minimum of three games. Bracketing will be determined based on team entry numbers.

RULES: The tournament will use Little League rules (www.littleleague.org/Assets/forms_pubs/tournaments/TournamentRules-Baseball.pdf) that have been modified to control excessive scoring, increase participation and make substituting easier. Players may need to provide proof of school status via a school I.D. card.

AWARDS: Custom Cornhusker State Games gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to all members of the top three teams in each division. All registered team members and coaches will receive a medal.

Age determined by July 31, 2020. The director reserves the right to reclassify teams as needed and may combine or split age division levels depending on the number of team entries. Coaches will receive an email before the tournament is bracketed for extra team information to determine placement.

Roster Info

ROSTER UPDATES:
Teams can make roster updates online.

The deadline to make roster updates is 5 p.m. on TUESDAY, JULY 14. Rosters are considered FINAL after that date.

Teams that register online are able to login and make roster substitutions free of charge. Teams that register via the paper entry form will be charged a $10 processing fee to substitute players. Teams are strongly encouraged to register online to eliminate any roster change fees.

MINIMUM ROSTER SIZE: Ten players. If registering online, the minimum roster size must be entered to advance to check-out.

NOTE: Rosters WILL be checked during tournament. Please make sure your roster is current prior to the July 14 deadline.

TEAM WAIVER: The team waiver form must be signed by each team member, or by parent/guardian if the participant is 18 years or younger. If the team is registered online, and the online waiver for each player is clicked as ‘Accepted’, no printed/signed waiver is needed. All team waivers must be clicked as ‘Accepted’ or submitted to the Cornhusker State Games office by TUESDAY, JULY 14 to be eligible for competition. ENTRY FEE INCLUDES: Competition in the 2020 Cornhusker State Games; White cotton athlete shirt (micro-fiber or soft cotton lightweight tri-blend upgrade available); Pass for free admission to SportFest, the Opening Ceremonies, and all competition venues; Sponsor gifts and coupons.

TEAM ONLINE REGISTRATION NOTE: When registering your team online, please note that the system will ask you to enter your team name and roster prior to selecting your sport and division. In the INDIVIDUAL Shipping dropdown menu, be sure to select “TEAM” for each team member. If you wish to have your team packet shipped, you will select that in the TEAM Shipping dropdown menu.

PAPER ENTRY FORMS: Paper entry forms will be accepted with a $10 processing fee per team. Registering online saves time, money and trees.

Athlete Packets

Choose the Shipping Option and get a Free Arby’s Sandwich!

Save time, avoid hassles and receive your CSG gear more than a week before the Opening Ceremonies by shipping your athlete packet ($10) or team box ($15).  Athlete packets contain the athlete shirt and Super Pass. Athlete packets will begin to ship in late June. The packet shipping option will only be available for those registered by the final entry deadline. If you don’t choose the shipping option, you will need to pick up your athlete packet or team box.

For those who did not select the packet shipping option during registration, athlete packets and team boxes can be picked up at the following locations, dates and times:

Athlete packets contain the athlete shirt and Super Pass, which includes admission to all venues and SportFest and the Opening Ceremonies.  The athlete packets DO NOT contain any sport specific information such as schedules, maps, bib numbers, etc. For sport-specific details, refer to your sport General Information.
