Check-in: Noon.
Competition begins: 1PM
COMPETITION FORMAT: There will be one 1 minute run per rider and a jam for each class. Depending on entries, Pro and Expert may have finals. Director reserves the right to combine events depending on entries, and also to move participants into appropriate classes as they see fit (Competition Judges will be consulted).
APPAREL & EQUIPMENT:
All riders must wear a helmet and additional protective gear is advised.  Handlebar grips are required and must cover any metal on the ends. Kickstands, chain guards, fenders and reflector brackets must be removed. The bicycle frame and its parts must be in good condition with no broken welds or jagged exposures. No wing nuts are allowed to secure the wheels to the frame or fork. Seats must be fastened so as not to slip during competition. Seat may not have any exposed metal or sharp edges. All equipment must be safe and in good condition in order to compete or practice.
AWARDS: Custom Cornhusker State Games gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each class.
MEDAL PICKUP:Â Medals not picked up on site during competition may still be claimed after the Games through the following process:
1. Medal Pickup in Lincoln: Participants who wish to pick up their medal(s) in person must email us at info@nebraskasportscouncil.com to notify our staff of their intent to pick up. After verification of eligibility, the medal(s) will be packaged and available for pickup at the Nebraska Sports Council office.
2. Medal Shipping:Â If participants are unable to pick up their medal(s) in Lincoln, we offer a shipping option for a $6 fee. To request shipping:
Email info@nebraskasportscouncil.com, and a staff member will follow up with verification and payment instructions OR call 402-471-2544 to verify and process your order and payment over the phone.
RULES: All Riders Must Wear a Helmet and Sign a Waiver (must be 19 to sign a waiver – participants under 19 must have a guardian present or bring a notarized waiver that can be downloaded from nowearbmx.com), additional rules posted at the venue
NOTE: Packets will be available for in-person pickup during the competition at The Nowear BMX Compound.
