General Information

COMPETITION FORMAT: There will be two qualifying rounds and a final. Director reserves the right to combine events depending on entries.

APPAREL & EQUIPMENT:

All riders must have a number plate on their bike. If riders don’t have a number plate, one will be provided by USA BMX free of charge prior to the race. Riders must use their current assigned number from USA BMX. Note: Non-USA BMX riders must let track operator know before race. Riders using 1-day pass will be assigned a number with registration. Riders must wear helmets with a permanent strap attached; snaps are not allowed. Helmets must have sufficient padding. USA BMX highly recommends a full-face helmet or one that covers the ears.

Riders must also wear enclosed shoes and long pants (waist to ankle). Shorts with shin and kneepads will be allowed. Riders must wear long-sleeved or short-sleeved shirts with sufficient elbow padding. Handlebars may not exceed 30 inches in width. Handlebar grips are required and must cover any metal on the ends. Kickstands, chain guards, fenders and reflector brackets must be removed. The bicycle frame and its parts must be in good condition with no broken welds or jagged exposures. Axle ends may not exceed 1/4” beyond the axle nut or must be cut. No wing nuts are allowed to secure the wheels to the frame or fork. No bicycle with any freestyle type pegs will be allowed on the track. Seats must be fastened so as not to slip during competition. Seat may not have any exposed metal or sharp edges. Bikes must have some form of operating braking system-hand and/or coaster (foot) brake. All equipment must be safe and in good condition in order to compete or practice.

AWARDS: Custom Cornhusker State Games gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each class.

RULES: USA BMX competition rules will apply.

NOTE: Packets will be available for in-person pickup during the competition at Omaha BMX.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
– Age determined as of July 8, 2023.
– Race is an USA BMX sanctioned single point race. All participants must be a current member of USA BMX. If a participant wishes to participate and is not a current member, a 1-day membership pass will be offered at no additional cost.
– Participants must register and compete at their current USA BMX classification. There will be no riding out of class.

Registration Fees & Deadlines

Those who register by June 21 will receive a FREE CSG athlete shirt, which will be shipped to the address they provide.  After June 21, CSG souvenir items can be purchased HERE, courtesy of Fine Designs.  Store orders will be shipped directly to the athlete from Fine Designs.

MULTI-EVENT DISCOUNT NOTE: If registering for multiple events, all entries must occur in the same transaction to receive the multi-event discount.

ENTRY FEE INCLUDES: Competition, CSG athlete shirt (if registered by June 21), Summer Fun Freebie vouchers courtesy of our sponsors.

SHIRT SHIPPING:  Athletes who register by June 21 will have their shirt shipped to the address they provide.  There is no packet pickup—information or items needed for competition, i.e. schedules, maps, bib numbers, will be provided onsite or online according to instructions emailed to athletes.

PAPER ENTRY FORMS: Paper entry forms will be accepted with a $5 processing fee. Registering online saves time, money and trees.
