STAY TO PLAY TOURNAMENT: This tournament is a “Stay to Play Event”. After registering for Ice Hockey, the team contact will be provided a list of hotels they can choose from to stay at from our Tournament Director. (Only applies to teams traveling more than 75 miles)

AWARDS: Custom Cornhusker State Games gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to all members of the top three teams in the division.

MEDAL PICKUP: Medals not picked up on site during competition may still be claimed after the Games through the following process:

1. Medal Pickup in Lincoln: Participants who wish to pick up their medal(s) in person must email us at info@nebraskasportscouncil.com to notify our staff of their intent to pick up. After verification of eligibility, the medal(s) will be packaged and available for pickup at the Nebraska Sports Council office.

2. Medal Shipping: If participants are unable to pick up their medal(s) in Lincoln, we offer a shipping option for a $6 fee. To request shipping:

House/Rec “Run It Back” Division (For House/Rec Teams ONLY):
10U – 2014/15 Birthyear Teams
12U – 2012/13 Birthyear Teams
14U – 2010/11 Birthyear Teams
NOTE: These divisions only are using the 2024-25 Player Classification. Teams should NOT have travel level players. These divisions are exclusively for House/Rec players only (Players who played house & select level are eligible).

Debut Division (For 2016 Players Only)
NOTE: This division is for house/rec level 2016 players who are transitioning from mites to squirts.

Mite Divisions (2017/2018) – All Games will be Played on Half Ice

NOTE: Games will be approximately 40 minutes in length. All mite teams are guaranteed 5 games.
NOTE: All mite games will be played at Sidner Ice Rink in Fremont. 

Sport Director has the right to combine divisions if less than four teams are registered in a division. All players will be notified if changes are made.

This tournament is ideal for Open Level AAA Summer teams. This is not a tournament for elite level AAA teams. Higher level teams may be considered to play up a birth year, please reach out to tournament director if interested or for any questions. 

We’ll reach out to all teams about a month before the tournament to confirm appropriate placement—regardless of your initial registration—to ensure balanced and competitive divisions.
