SITE: Heartland Public Shooting Park (6788 W Husker Hwy, Alda, NE 68810)

TIMES:
Practice begins at 7:30 a.m.
Check-in by 8:30 a.m. to receive assignments
Competition begins at 9 a.m.

COMPETITION FORMAT: Two 40-round matches consist of 10 rounds each at chicken targets (40 meters), pig targets (60 meters), turkey targets (77 meters) and ram targets (100 meters).

SANCTION: Competition is sanctioned by the National Rifle Association of America as a special tournament. NRA membership is not required. No .22 magnums or stingers, only .22 short, long and/or long rifle may be used. NRA rules apply. Go to www.nrahq.org/compete/index.asp for complete rules.

AWARDS: After the first match, and at the match director’s discretion, athletes will be classified in up to three classes. Classification will be based on youth or adult status and/or score in the first match. Custom Cornhusker State Games gold, silver, and bronze medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each class based on the aggregate score from the two matches.

MEDAL PICKUP: Medals not picked up on site during competition may still be claimed after the Games through the following process:

1. Medal Pickup in Lincoln: Participants who wish to pick up their medal(s) in person must email us at info@nebraskasportscouncil.com to notify our staff of their intent to pick up. After verification of eligibility, the medal(s) will be packaged and available for pickup at the Nebraska Sports Council office.

2. Medal Shipping: If participants are unable to pick up their medal(s) in Lincoln, we offer a shipping option for a $6 fee. To request shipping:
