Adult Trap General Information
DATE: July 20, 2024
TIME: Shooting begins at 7:30 a.m.

RULES: Amateur Trapshooting Association rules will apply to all divisions.
AWARDS: Custom Cornhusker State Games gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to the top three shooters in each division of the 16 Yard and Handicap events. Medals will also be awarded for High Overall in each division.

Open: The top three scorers in each event, regardless of the division below for which a shooter qualifies.
Non-ATA Shooters: Shooters who are not currently or who have not been active ATA members within the past five years. Awards will be given in three groups as determined by the Lewis Class System. (One group only in High Overall).
ATA Shooters (Trap 16 Yard): Shooters who are now or who have been active Amateur Trapshooting Association members within the past five years. Separate awards for classes A, B, C and D.
ATA Shooters (Trap Handicap): Shooters who are now or who have been active ATA members within the past five years. Separate awards in three yardage groups: 17-21 1/2 yards, 22-24 1/2 yards and 25-27 yards.
Note: We will be using the Dutch handicap system. (yardage will be based on 16 yard score)
Seniors: Shooters ages 55-64.
Veterans: Shooters ages 65 and older.
Women: Female shooters.

RULES: National Skeet Shooting Association rules will apply to all divisions.
AWARDS: Custom Cornhusker State Games gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to the top three shooters in each division of the 12 Gauge and 20 Gauge events. Medals will also be awarded for High Overall in each division.

ENTRY FEE INCLUDES: Competition and Summer Fun Freebies (coming soon) courtesy of our sponsors.
SHIRT SHIPPING: Athletes who register by June 19 will have their shirt shipped to the address they provide. Upgrade and additional shirts will be available to purchase during registration. There is no packet pickup—information or items needed for competition will be provided onsite or online according to instructions emailed to athletes.
PAPER ENTRY FORMS: Paper entry forms will be accepted with a $5 processing fee. Registering online saves time, money and trees.
