SITE: Heartland Public Shooting Park, Alda

DIVISIONS:  Adult male and female, youth male and female.

ELIGIBILITY: 18 years of age for adults and 13 to 17 years of age for youth.

INDIVIDUAL AWARDS: Custom Cornhusker State Games gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to the top three shooters in each division.  In the event of a tie, a shoot off will be held for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each division. 1 gold medal will be awarded to HOA. There will be an option at registration if you wish to be considered for this award.

FLIGHTS: There are five flights with six shooters per flight.  Flight times are 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3 p.m. You will be able to self-squad at registration on a first come first serve basis. 

RULES: This event closely follows ISSF trap rules, but there are a few variations.

-Ammo consisting of 7/8oz to 1 1/8oz birdshot can be used.

-Each shooter will be allowed one ammo and one gun malfunction per round, any subsequent malfunction will result in a loss bird.

-Failure to disengage safety will result in a loss bird.

-12-gauge shotgun only. 

NOTE:  Shooters will be shooting 100 clays instead of the traditional 125.  This event allows shooter two shots per target. It is recommended that shooters bring 200 shells for this shoot.

-Hearing and eye protection required.

NOTE FROM THE DIRECTOR: All competitors are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner. Any disagreements should be discussed calmly and cordially. The Event Director will have final authority in resolving any disputes. Good luck to all participants, have fun, and we look forward to seeing you.

MEDAL PICKUP: Medals not picked up on site during competition may still be claimed after the Games through the following process:

  1. Medal Pickup in Lincoln: Participants who wish to pick up their medal(s) in person must email us at info@nebraskasportscouncil.com to notify our staff of their intent to pick up. After verification of eligibility, the medal(s) will be packaged and available for pickup at the Nebraska Sports Council office. 
  2. Medal Shipping: If participants are unable to pick up their medal(s) in Lincoln, we offer a shipping option for a $6 fee. To request shipping:

Registration Fees & Deadlines

PRICING DEADLINES:
$50 for first event until June 17
$55 for first event until FINAL DEADLINE on July 1

PAPER ENTRY FORMS: Paper entry forms will be accepted with a $5 processing fee. Registering online saves time, money and trees.
