Range Hours: Saturday 9am-5pm, Sunday 9am-1pm
***Last targets sold at 10am Sunday.
SITE: Fort Atkinson Muzzleloading Club Range (Near Winslow, NE) – 1176 County Rd. 24 Blvd, Hooper, NE
COMPETITION FORMAT: All rifle matches are five shots. All pistol matches are 10 shots.
RULES: Current NMLRA rules will apply. Chief Range Officer’s decisions will be final. Juniors and Sub-Juniors must be supervised. Juniors and Sub-Juniors may shoot all three rifle matches with their entry fee. No extra charges on-site. There will be “novelty matches” available for all classes to enter on-site.
EQUIPMENT: Flint or percussion ignition may be used in all matches. Patched round ball only. Open sights only. Hunter class may use in-line rifles with scope and sabot bullets.
AWARDS: Custom Cornhusker State Games gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each match.
MEDAL PICKUP: Medals not picked up on site during competition may still be claimed after the Games through the following process:
1. Medal Pickup in Lincoln: Participants who wish to pick up their medal(s) in person must email us at info@nebraskasportscouncil.com to notify our staff of their intent to pick up. After verification of eligibility, the medal(s) will be packaged and available for pickup at the Nebraska Sports Council office.
2. Medal Shipping: If participants are unable to pick up their medal(s) in Lincoln, we offer a shipping option for a $6 fee. To request shipping:
