WalkLincoln – Outdoor

STARTING POINT AND ROUTE TBD.

TIMES:
Check-In starts at 6:45 a.m.
Participants may begin their walk anytime between 6:45 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.
All walkers must complete their walk by Noon.

FORMAT: WalkLincoln – Outdoor is a non-competitive, family-friendly event for all ages. From babies in strollers to fast-paced grandmothers, WalkLincoln – Outdoor is a great way to be part of the Cornhusker State Games with a 2-mile stroll or a 6-mile trek.

MULTI-EVENTS: Walkers who register for WalkLincoln – Outdoor can also register for WalkLincoln – Indoor for $10 per event.

COURSE:
Both the 2-Mile and 6-Mile routes are stroller-friendly, complete with arrow signs and sidewalk chalk.

AWARDS: All participants that complete the course will receive a Cornhusker State Games commemorative medal. 

MEDAL PICKUP: Medals not picked up on site during competition may still be claimed after the Games through the following process:

1. Medal Pickup in Lincoln: Participants who wish to pick up their medal(s) in person must email us at info@nebraskasportscouncil.com to notify our staff of their intent to pick up. After verification of eligibility, the medal(s) will be packaged and available for pickup at the Nebraska Sports Council office.

2. Medal Shipping: If participants are unable to pick up their medal(s) in Lincoln, we offer a shipping option for a $6 fee. To request shipping:

Email info@nebraskasportscouncil.com, and a staff member will follow up with verification and payment instructions OR call 402-471-2544 to verify and process your order and payment over the phone.

PRICING DEADLINES:
$15 for first event until April 22
$20 for first event until June 17
$25 for first event until FINAL DEADLINE on July 1

Additional Events: $10

MULTI-EVENTS: Walkers who register for WalkLincoln- Outdoor can register for WalkLincoln- Indoor and WalkOmaha- Indoor for $10 per event. Participants who compete in all three walking events will receive a custom Cornhusker State Games gold medal.

NOTE: On-site registration will be available. Additional late fees may apply.

ENTRY FEE INCLUDES:  Competition and Summer Fun Freebies (coming soon) courtesy of our sponsors.

PAPER ENTRY FORMS: Paper entry forms will be accepted with a $5 processing fee. Registering online saves time, money and trees.
