WalkLincoln – Outdoor

SITE: Starting Point – Southwest High School

TIMES:
Check-In starts at 6:45 a.m.
Participants may begin their walk anytime between 6:45 a.m. and 10 a.m.
All walkers must complete their walk by Noon.

FORMAT: WalkLincoln – Outdoor is a non-competitive, family-friendly event for all ages. From babies in strollers to fast-paced grandmothers, WalkLincoln – Outdoor is a great way to be part of the Cornhusker State Games with a 2-mile stroll or a 6-mile trek.

MULTI-EVENTS: Walkers who register for WalkLincoln- Outdoor can register for WalkLincoln- Indoor and WalkOmaha- Indoor for $10 per event.

COURSE:
Both the 2-Mile and 6-Mile routes are stroller-friendly, complete with arrow signs and sidewalk chalk.

AWARDS: All participants that complete the course will receive a Cornhusker State Games commemorative medal. Participants who compete in all three walking events (WalkLincoln- Indoor, WalkLincoln- Outdoor, and WalkOmaha- Indoor) will receive a custom Cornhusker State Games gold medal.

MEDAL PICKUP: Medals not picked up on site during competition may still be claimed after the Games through the following process:

1. Medal Pickup in Lincoln: Participants who wish to pick up their medal(s) in person must email us at info@nebraskasportscouncil.com to notify our staff of their intent to pick up. After verification of eligibility, the medal(s) will be packaged and available for pickup at the Nebraska Sports Council office.

2. Medal Shipping: If participants are unable to pick up their medal(s) in Lincoln, we offer a shipping option for a $6 fee. To request shipping:
