WalkLincoln – Indoor

DATE: July 11, 2026

SITE: Gateway Mall (61st and O St, Lincoln). Enter west door by Food Court.

TIMES:
Start between 7 and 9 a.m.
Finish by 10:30 a.m.

FORMAT: Formally known as the Indoor Volkswalk, WalkLincoln – Indoor is a non-competitive event where participants may walk at their own pace. This is an opportunity to be a part of the Cornhusker State Games, get good exercise, and develop new friendships.

MULTI-EVENTS: Walkers who register for WalkLincoln – Indoor can register for WalkLincoln – Outdoor for $10 per event.

ELIGIBILITY: All ages are welcome. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. No pets allowed.

AWARDS: All walkers who finish by the designated times will receive a custom Cornhusker State Games commemorative medal.

MEDAL PICKUP: Medals not picked up on site during competition may still be claimed after the Games through the following process:

1. Medal Pickup in Lincoln: Participants who wish to pick up their medal(s) in person must email us at info@nebraskasportscouncil.com to notify our staff of their intent to pick up. After verification of eligibility, the medal(s) will be packaged and available for pickup at the Nebraska Sports Council office.

2. Medal Shipping: If participants are unable to pick up their medal(s) in Lincoln, we offer a shipping option for a $6 fee. To request shipping:

PAPER ENTRY FORMS: Paper entry forms will be accepted with a $5 processing fee. Registering online saves time, money and trees.
