General Information

DATE: July 21, 2024

TIME: Start between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m., finish by 1 p.m.

SITE: Liberty First Credit Union Arena – View Map

FORMAT: WalkOmaha – Indoor is a non-competitive sport. Participants may walk or run at their own pace. This is an opportunity to be a part of the Cornhusker State Games, get good exercise in a non-competitive sport, and develop new friendships.

MULTI-EVENT DISCOUNT: Walkers who register for WalkOmaha- Indoor can register for WalkLincoln- Indoor and WalkLincoln- Outdoor for a discounted rate of $10 per event.

COURSE: Walk will consist of walking the concourse area of the arena. CSG Hockey will be ongoing. Stop and watch between miles!

AWARDS: All walkers who finish by the designated times will receive a Cornhusker State Games commemorative medallion. *NEW THIS YEAR* Participants who compete in all three walking events (WalkLincoln- Indoor, WalkLincoln- Outdoor, and WalkOmaha- Indoor) will receive a custom Cornhusker State Games gold medal.

ELIGIBILITY: All ages are welcome. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Pets are NOT ALLOWED indoors.

PRICING DEADLINES:
$15 per participant until April 24 (with FREE shirt)
$20 per participant until June 19 (with FREE shirt)
$20 per participant until July 21 (no FREE shirt)

SHIRT SHIPPING: Athletes who register by June 19 will have their shirt shipped to the address they provide. Upgrade and additional shirts will be available to purchase during registration. There is no packet pickup—information or items needed for competition will be provided onsite or online according to instructions emailed to athletes.

PAPER ENTRY FORMS: Paper entry forms will be accepted with a $5 processing fee. Registering online saves time, money and trees.
