General Information

DATE: Sunday, July 30, 2023

TIME: Start between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m., finish by 1 p.m.

SITE: UNO Campus, Lot 4. (67th & Pacific).

NOTE: Bring a Camera! This year route will include many opportunities to take souvenir photos of many popular sites.

FORMAT: WalkOMAHA is a non-competitive sport. Participants may walk or run at their own pace. This is an opportunity to be a part of the Cornhusker State Games, get good exercise in a non-competitive sport, and develop new friendships.

COURSE: Maps will be emailed a few days before the event when finalized, and provided to each walker at check-in.

AWARDS: All walkers who finish by the designated times will receive a Cornhusker State Games commemorative medallion.

ELIGIBILITY: All ages are welcome. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Pets must be on a leash and are NOT ALLOWED indoors.

Registration Fees & Deadlines

Those who register by June 21 will receive a FREE CSG athlete shirt, which will be shipped to the address they provide. After June 21, CSG souvenir items can be purchased HERE, courtesy of Fine Designs. Store orders will be shipped directly to the athlete from Fine Designs.

PRICING DEADLINES:

WALKERS SPECIAL OFFER: Participants who register for the CSG Walk can also register for the Mallwalk (Sunday, July 17) and/or CSG Walk (Saturday, July 23) for a discounted entry fee of $10! Both registrations must be made in the same transaction to receive the discount.

ENTRY FEE INCLUDES: Competition, CSG athlete shirt (if registered by June 21), Summer Fun Freebie vouchers courtesy of our sponsors.

SHIRT SHIPPING: Athletes who register by June 21 will have their shirt shipped to the address they provide. There is no packet pickup—information or items needed for competition, i.e. schedules, maps, bib numbers, will be provided onsite or online according to instructions emailed to athletes.

PAPER ENTRY FORMS: Paper entry forms will be accepted with a $5 processing fee. Registering online saves time, money and trees.
