LINCOLN, Neb. (June 16, 2025) – This summer, ESPN’s SportsCenter is hitting the road for “50 States in 50 Days,” a nationwide tour celebrating sports culture in every corner of the country. As part of Nebraska’s feature, ESPN will shine a spotlight on the Cornhusker State Games, representing the state’s rich sports tradition.

An ESPN film crew will be in Nebraska during the Games on July 11-13 to capture footage and scenes from this annual multi-sport festival. The 2025 Cornhusker State Games are set for July 10–20 with 73 different sports taking place at more than 70 venues statewide. The Games offer a compelling look at grassroots athletic participation and community involvement in Nebraska.

The “50 States in 50 Days” series begins Friday, June 27, with a different state featured each day for 50 consecutive days. The Cornhusker State Games will be included in the Nebraska segment, which will be released on ESPN platforms at a later date.

This marks the first time in 20 years that SportsCenter has launched a tour of this scale, revisiting the concept first introduced with SportsCenter Across America in 2005. Coverage from each stop will appear across ESPN platforms — including SportsCenter, the ESPN App, and ESPN’s social media channels.

The Cornhusker State Games is Nebraska’s largest amateur sports festival and a summer tradition for thousands of athletes and families. For full details on events, schedules, or registration, visit CornhuskerStateGames.com.
