LINCOLN, Neb. (January 15, 2024) — Registration is open for most sports in the 40th annual Cornhusker State Games, which take place July 11-21, 2024 in Lincoln, Omaha, Fremont, Columbus, North Platte and several other Nebraska communities.

Cornhusker State Games competitions are open to athletes of all ages and abilities. Entry fees are at their lowest in all sports from now until Feb. 21. Those who register by June 19 will receive a free athlete shirt. The final deadline to register is July 2. For more information on registration and entry fees, visit CornhuskerStateGames.com.

Opening Night is set for 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 11. More information regarding Opening Night will be announced at a later date.

Registration for State Games of America (SGA) is also open. Events take place July 17-21, 2024 in San Diego, California.

The Cornhusker State Games is conducted by the Nebraska Sports Council, a 501 c 3 non-profit organization. Platinum partners include Nebraska Orthopedic Center, Farmers Mutual of Nebraska, Nebraska Medical Association and Pepsi-Cola of Lincoln.
